This week marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter as our team welcome @Alga Biologics on-site to officially launch our joint operations.

More than the start of a new project, this collaboration brings together two complementary areas of expertise with a shared ambition: to advance the industrialization of therapeutic antibodies produced from microalgae in a GMP environment -  a worldwide breakthrough and a significant milestone for biotechnology and the future of biomanufacturing.

Alga Biologics' team – @Christelle Fécourt (Project Lead Engineer) and @Manon Salvetti (R&D Engineer) – are working side by side with our DSP experts, @Loïc Perilleux (DSP Process Manager) and @Daniel Haugg (DSP Process Technician), to perform process transfer and establish seamless data flows, the first steps before moving to GMP.

This close collaboration combines Alga Biologics' pioneering microalgae platform with our expertise in GMP manufacturing, accelerating the path from innovation to industrial reality.

This partnership marks an exciting milestone for our SMO Model, as it showcases our ability to achieve GMP compliance for disruptive technologies.
